SongInTheAir
Jason Wood-1B-Marlins Oct. 31 - 5:42 pm et Jason Wood has taken a job as the hitting coach for the Dodgers' Single-A affiliate. Wood spent all of 2007 with the Marlins and hit .239/.286/.368 in 117 at-bats. He made the team again last season, but he was dropped from the roster when Wes Helms was acquired on April 5 and was never recalled. The 38-year-old wraps up his career with a .245 average in 200 at-bats over parts of five seasons. He fell just two RBI short of reaching 1,000 in a long and distinguished minor league career.  c/o Rotoworld.
Jimmy
And here I thought this thread was going to be about what happens to Mike Piazza and Jim Edmonds when they walk into the showers after a game(allegedly).

CTMarlinsfan
It's a shame the Marlins had Wes for Woody...he was very good in his limited time in the bigs, and just caught some bad breaks. Oh well, I'm happy he will keep on with a career in baseball at least.
