November 12, 200817 yr at least your school didn't have acts of hatred against 3 African American Freshman players...it's gonna be a LONGGGG year at Quinnipiac.
November 16, 200817 yr Author I can't believe the Noles almost lost to Jacksonville. Up 17 with under 2 minutes to go and they let them get back into the game. They escaped with a 59-57 win. Miami also won today 96-60 over Florida Southern.
November 16, 200817 yr Gotta love Davidson @ #20 lol ESPN now has a lovefest with Stephan Curry. Oh, and I am glad to see the Gators ranked. Hopefully Nick Calathes takes us far in the tournament
November 16, 200817 yr at least your school didn't have acts of hatred against 3 African American Freshman players...it's gonna be a LONGGGG year at Quinnipiac. oh, and our star recruit was arrested on opening day...and we're still 1-0
November 19, 200817 yr no arizona in there, that's bull crap. can't blame them though with lute retiring and all our recruits planning on going to different schools because of it. brandon jennings (#1 ranked) went to europe, abdul gaddy (#2 ranked) went to washington, mike moser (#18 ranked) is undecided and solomon hill (#21 ranked) is undecided too. oh well we still got budinger and hill
November 23, 200817 yr Author Noles slided away with another victory to improve to 4-0. Miami plays #2 Connecticut tomorrow in the Virgin Islands.
December 2, 200817 yr We play Ohio State in the ACC/Big Ten challenge on ESPN tonight at 7 at the Bank United Center. Everyone get out there. I had tickets but am sick.
December 3, 200817 yr Gonna be a long year for my VERY young hawkeyes except when you play my bulldogs =( Our schedule is ridiculous for a first year DI team.
December 3, 200817 yr Author Pretty gay how they ejected McClinton. ESPN team refs McClinton slapped the other guy in the face. What were you expecting them to do?

Did you see the replay they showed before the 2nd half started? The guy slapped McClinton before so he caused it. He should've been ejected. But the refs didnt see it. And its costing us right now

December 3, 200817 yr Author I think this game proves that Miami can't win without McClinton. At least against a decent opponent.

No, they didnt. We didnt see it on TV either until they noticed it on the 2nd half. If they had seen it, they wouldnt have ejected him. It would've been a double technichal. And what this proves is how the refs can kill a game. Jack got 12 points in like 10 minutes, so you could see the type of night he was going to have.

Because I don't know how many replays they showed of the incident right after it happened. Not only that, but the game was delayed for a couple of minutes while the refs looked at the play.
December 3, 200817 yr Did you watch the whole game including halftime report? Yes, the referees did watch the replay but its the same one that we saw. When McClinton randomly slapped the Buckeye. But right before the start of the 2nd half starter, the announcers received another video which showed the whole thing. In the whole thing, McClinton had the ball, he passes it to his teammate, and the Buckeye slapped McClinton in the face. So a couple seconds after, Jack slapped the other guy. The refs didnt see the play live. The assistant coaches of the Buckeyes did see McClinton slap him, so they told the refs to look at the replays. They only got shown what we saw at the moment. But later, that was shown. And for most of the delay, the refs were talking to the players and coaches, not looking at the replay. They just showed it on sportscenter. EDIT: From CBS Article: The senior guard was ejected for a flagrant foul midway through the first half after he took a swipe with the palm of his hand at Anthony Crater, brushing his face. The contact came almost immediately after Crater hit McClinton in the face while guarding him. http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketbal...081202_OHST@MIA

Crater's was just by accident while he was trying to guard him tight. In my opinion it was just an act of frustration.

The Buckeye did not go for the ball obvously, since McClinton didnt have it when he got hit.
December 3, 200817 yr All this McClinton and UMiami talk doesn't matter because they will be out of the top 25 by the end of the week.
December 3, 200817 yr All this McClinton and UMiami talk doesn't matter because they will be out of the top 25 by the end of the week. What pissed me off though is how UF lost last week, and was still ranked higher than us in the current ranking. I dont even think they even lost 1 spot, and they lost to an unranked opponent. We lost to the #2 team in the country, and dropped 5 points
