December 24, 200817 yr The reason the Dolphins are having a good year is because a lot of traditionally strong teams are having bad years. The real reason is because they beat up on crappy teams the whole season. The only teams with winning records that the Dolphins beat were the Patriots a week after they lost Tom Brady, and an overrated Broncos team. the patriots are also inflated because their wins are all over losing teams too

They could be a dangerous team if they make the playoffs.

If that happened, and the Dolphins won against the Jets, it would be Phins-Pats in the 1st round of the playoffs.
December 24, 200817 yr Yea but the Ravens are playing a bad Jaguar team at Baltimore and are 12 point favorites Its all up to the Phins to seal the deal
December 25, 200817 yr The Dolphins have a good record because they are a good team. Stop making excuses.
December 25, 200817 yr Yea but the Ravens are playing a bad Jaguar team at Baltimore and are 12 point favorites Its all up to the Phins to seal the deal I think there is a good shot the Jaguars win and we have the third matchup between the Patriots and Dolphins.
December 25, 200817 yr Look at it this way The Dolphins were supposed to be that bottom team that EVERYBODY, even the bottom teams could beat, we have proven them all wrong. True, all the true contenders have fallen off, and that is because those teams haven't been able to win the games they are supposed to win. The Dolphins do what they need to do, they are the most efficient team in the league, don't use the excuses of "well they had an easy schedule" when the season started, they were supposed to be the easy schedule. Other teams were supposed to take advantage of their easy games against the Fins. We have proven them wrong, we win the games that are on our schedule, and we are 1 game away from the playoffs after a 1-15 year. Every person who doesn't care to give the dolphins credit for their good season are just spiteful because they do not want the dolphins to succeed, and when they did, they want to find a way to see that they did it cheaply. Another major reason we have succeeded this year is because obviously we have a very consistent QB, and most importantly we have 10x better O-Line, Jake Long has been amazing this year. Ronnie Brown has been healthy, our secondary has been healthy, and we have not suffered any major injuries except for Camarillo. We have not been weak in any way, except some games our secondary was very weak, but overall we have had an amazing season. Let us have this one.

Really?

They have had a great season, and they deserve all the credit they receive. However, the Dolphins were able to play against the worst division in the NFC, the worst division in the AFC, and they didn't have to play any of the major opponents like the Steelers, Colts, Titans, etc. If they played even a semi-tough schedule, their record wouldn't nearly be what it is today.

While all you said is true, we would still be in the division race. The Dolphins have the strongest schedule in the AFC East, at .465. Behind them are the Jets (.457), (.449), and finally the NFL's luckiest team, the Patriots (.387).

The Dolphins had 2 big plays that they just missed. The missed catch by Ricky Williams, and the Ronnie Brown pass to the TE...it looked like the wind played a big part on that play.

December 28, 200817 yr WTF we have trouble snapping the ball all of a sudden and the defense has to get tough on coverage up the middle
December 29, 200817 yr Author And that is why I hate the Dolphins. Did they really have to show Huizenga's face?
