I haven't been following them that much this season like I used to in the past, I admit. They're just not the same Canes as last season. I miss Dorsey A LOT!

November 4, 200322 yr Miami will end up #3 in the BCS because although they are no where near as good as USC and Oklahoma, and although they should be #4 because Virginia Tech is obviously better, Miami will be 3rd due to SOS. And that is a great picture, not because I hate Miami, but because i'd laugh at a pic like that no matter who the player on the ground was.

Crudup can throw the ball. i've watched him throw the ball many, many times. the guy has no sense of accuracy, his completions are the classic "dinks". the reason he is used for his legs is because the starting QB's ahead of him didn't have the legs that he does. his arm leaves a lot to be desired, trust me. altho honestly i cant tell you waht the canes should do now. brock seriously needs to get his act together. at the moment, both of them suck.

I'm not saying it was race that decided the job, i'm just saying crudup's talent, combined with the fact that just about everyone that saw spring practices says that crudup outplayed berlin in them, gave crudup a valid case when he played the race card after it was announced he was the backup.

November 5, 200322 yr Coker would not make race a factor. First of all, he isn't a racist. Second of all, he has been around the game long enough to know that if he was racist that wouldn't be the position to show it off.

I don't think the decision was based on race personally, i think it was based on Berlin's high reputation coming from Florida.
