January 4, 200917 yr Basically every other town besides Miami. But among the best are NY, Philadelphia, Boston, St.Louis, and Chicago. The fans there are so much more passionate about their sports than down here. You can just tell by listening to talk radio in So Fla when half the callers don't know what the crap they're talking about. Combine that with their bad attendance figures and it's pretty safe to say Miami is a terrible sports town. The passion between fans and their teams has to do with championship caliber, tradition, and population, not about whether the majority of fans are bandwagoners or not. NY and and Chicago are two of the most populated cities in America. Boston has every team in their city winning championships on an annual basis. Also, did you forget that the Phillies used to have one of the worst attendance records until they started winning? They barely averaged over 20,000 people per game. And since when did sports fans in St. Louis suddenly become so passionate about the Rams or the Blues? There are reasons why South Florida sports teams aren't as popular as others, but it's not because the fans are not passionate.
January 4, 200917 yr Wow former Miami Hurricane and miami native Willis McGhaee puts an exclamation point with that 40 yard run and Flaco TD Were done but what a good season we had its hard to think though the Ravens are such a low seed
January 4, 200917 yr Why do we get cute all we needed was another short pass The play was going to work. Ginn had a touchdown on that play if he hangs on to the ball. It was just poor execution. Touchdown really i doubt it 10 15 yards maybe but not a TD they had 3 Coners on that side and ED Reed but we could have gotten at least 5 yards on that Look at the replay. He only had to get past one guy (whoever the fat guy was on the left side of the ball around the line of scrimmage) and then Ravens had two corners on the left side, but we had a lineman making his way up (there goes one guy) and we had a receiver on the other guy. With Ginn's speed, I think it was probably a touchdown. He scores there, the game totally changes. At the end of the day, Pennington's mistakes cost us the game. Gotta give credit to the Ravens' defense. They forced him into a couple of mistakes. Two of the interceptions, IMO, were on him. The other two were forced by the Ravens.
January 4, 200917 yr Great season for the Dolphins. Let's have a solid draft. If we do, I think we're back in the playoffs next year.

January 4, 200917 yr Lets hope next year isn't another of those sh*tty Pennington seasons. BTW I'm 0-3 in picking in the wild card games so far, wtf?

January 4, 200917 yr Well, the good news (at least for me and Dtrainfan) is that the beast that is the Raven defense gets unleashed on Tennessee... and we get to stop the Charger run game...

And Scifres thats how a real punter does it, imagine if our punter could get our defense in those kinds of positions game in and game out.

Sepulveda's cool as a punter though, because he's built like a linebacker still, having played it before... so he's essentially that extra "true" cover man...
January 4, 200917 yr oh well. cant get mad at getting knocked out in the 1st round of the playoffs after winning one f***ing game last season. there should be no poo-pooing of miami's season, regardless of how it ended.
January 5, 200917 yr Author 3-1 with the eagles win 1-3 with the eagles win :thumbdown and the eagles are the one pick I have got right Next week one of my picks was Pittsburgh over Miami. Since the actual fixture is Pittsburgh against San Diego, do I still get the points if the Steelers win?
January 5, 200917 yr Eagles and Ravens looked very good today. I like the eagles over the giants next week. Carolina will probably destroy the cards. I think both of the AFC games could go either way.

I expect to win... but Gates and the Sproles/LT combo always make things difficult, nothing else really scares me
