4. Batman Returns 8/10 Devito knows how to play a role and Pfiefer was looking good Keaton also did better 2nd time around

5. Batman and Robin(Even though it was bad) 5/10 Arnold this wasen't your best work and had a wack ending

6.Batman Forever(Not Seen Yet but should be Good with Carey and Tommy Lee Jones)

Only one Iv seen is The Dark Knight and it was outstanding 10/10

I got a double box set DVD of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight for xmas so I look forward to seeing Begins although I know it wont match up to The Dark Knight

Batman Returns used to be my favorite until the Dark Knight and Batman Begins... the others were crap I thought.

Batman was always my favorite hero and I'm glad they revived the series in a big way, because I'm still trying to get over Batman and Robin...

The Dark Knight is my favorite, and here is why:

The first modern Batman was OK in my eyes. I've never been one for Tim Burton's style, so I'm going with OK at best.

Batman Returns sucked. Burton got way into his "I'm so dark and edgy and goth. ART!" pretentiousness. Sucked.

Batman Forever was absolute rubbish. No more needs to be said.

Batman and Robin. Now here is a classic. A film so bad, it's almost good. Almost. The entire move was pun-tacular, from "Ice to meet you!" to "Chill out!", from "Cool party!" to "Allow me to break the ice." That movie was... special.

Batman Begins. Not a Batman movie. Could have changed his name, said his parents died in a car crash, and changed the costume and it would have had no trace of Batman in it.

The Dark Knight. Great movie. Looks like one of the writers finally picked up a comic book.

1) The Dark Knight- It was just perfect, that's all there is to say about that

2) Batman Begins- It redeemed the Batman series for many people after the Schumaker disasters

3) Batman (89)- I liked that it was dark and over the top comical at the same time. Jack was great as the Joker (not better than Heath though)

4) Batman (66)- Yes the Adam West movie. Give it a chance. It is a blast watching it. Heck, watch it just for the shark scene.

5) Batman Forever- This was actually the first Batman movie I ever saw as a kid and I loved it then. It still has a place in my heart. It could have been much better sadly had they not decided to make it simply family-friendly.

6) Batman Returns- The more and more I watch this, the more I dislike it. Burton failed me on this one.

7) Batman & Robin- no comment. "Ice to see you....."

1. The Dark Knight

2. Batman Begins

3. Batman

4. Batman Returns

5. Batman Forever

10,000. Batman & Robin

  • 3 weeks later...

1. The Dark Knight -- Great movie in general, but I've got to believe that Heath Ledger's dedication to the role (as well as his subsequent death) give it more points than can ever be matched.

2. Batman -- Nicholson was the man, running away with enough money to support himself for the rest of his life.

3. Batman Returns -- DeVito was believable as a rotund penguin.

-----------------------------------------------------------

4. Batman Forever -- Huge Tommy Lee Jones fan, which is the only way I could even rank this film.

5. Batman & Robin -- The aforementioned puns didn't do it for me, but Uma Thurman semi-did.

6. Batman Begins -- Like Rab said, this film wasn't Batman-y enough to warrant its title.
