There's no way you got a 4. Check again.

It's ok to have a discussion. It is also ok if you want to talk about which slogans you think suck. Just like any other thread, getting personal is not ok.

HAHA Not so smart now are you tough guy the sad thing is i never studied for the FCAT or even do the packets they give us plus i've stayed home on every benchmark day since 6th grade. The FCAT is just so damn easy hopefully so are SAT's
January 14, 200917 yr The groundbreaking season one is horrible because it has nothing to do with the 2009 Florida Marlins I agree I fail to understand how that slogan will represent the 2009 Marlins ON THE FIELD. Groundbreaking just doesn't explain what we will produce on the field or what 2009 Marlins will achieve.
January 14, 200917 yr I came up with the "You do the math" slogan, and it took me a couple days to respond because I've been crying in my room from the harsh comments. My thought behind the slogan is obviously winning the title every six years starting from 97. Obviously it doesn't take into account the years preceding 97. The inaugural season of 93 is a special season for all us, but 97 was our first shot of glory, so I believe that was our first true significant achievement as a franchise. 03 was our next accomplishment with our 2nd title, and hopefully 09 will once again be another glorious season with a 3rd title. Hopefully the trend continues this year with winning a title every 6 years (again, starting with 97) and ends this year as well. I don't want to wait another 6 years! With that said, if you don't like it, don't vote for it. I don't hate you all for hating it. I love you guys (well, most of you). It probably won't make it out of the current supplemental round anyway. Good luck to all the other slogans!

But the point is, you can't say every 6 years. because it took till the 5th season to win the first one. You can't just ignore that. Maybe if there had been 3 championships and they were 6 years apart there's more to sway it toward 6 years. But right now, it took 5 seasons to win one, then 6 to win another. It doesn't lean one way or another. Heck, I hope your math proves us all wrong, but the numbers don't make sense.
