March 3, 200917 yr I predict that both Ross and Hermida will outperform both Ibanez and Franceour this season. Why not Maybin too?

March 6, 200917 yr Yea I bought the mazine myself when I saw it at Walmart, but they predict a yankees cubs world series...lmfao yea right
March 6, 200917 yr Why is Putz on there but not K-Rod? Cause Fransisco Rodriguez is a closer, and he is not better than brad lidge. im calling bulls***. are you saying krod only had like 200 saves last year cuz he was on the angels? yes. krod wasnt anywhere near as dominant as lidge last year.
March 6, 200917 yr I was walking through Wal-Mart; and as is my custom I made my way to the magazine section to look through some sports publications. I grabbed the Sporting News 2009 Baseball Preview, and quickly flipped to the NL East and saw a ridiculous piece of mainstream media ignorance. Here is their all NL East Team, see if you can pick out the guy that shouldn't be there. C - Brian McCann 1B - Ryan Howard 2B - Chase Utley 3B - David Wright SS- Hanley Ramirez OF - Raul Ibanez OF - Carlos Beltran OF - Jeff Francoeur SP - Johan Santana RP - J.J. Putz CP - Brad Lidge It's beyond ridiculous that Jeff Francoeur gets on that team....it's lazy writers and poor research like this, that encourage me to try and make it in the world of sports journalism. agreed on the francoeur part. he was flat out awful last year and some braves fans are on their whit's end on him, wanting him traded midseason if he doesn't turn things around quickly. why he is on the list is mind boggling and the only reason i can come up with about why he's on the list is because the rf position is overall lacking of talent in the nl east (werth, hermida, church, dukes). frenchy is the biggest name in rf, thus why they probably chose him. i would argue that david wright shouldn't be on that list and replaced by chipper jones for similar reasons.
March 6, 200917 yr i would argue that david wright shouldn't be on that list and replaced by chipper jones for similar reasons. David Wright is the... right... choice because, as was previously mentioned, he'll play more than the 120 games Chipper will and he's by far a better fielder.
March 7, 200917 yr Lidge > K-Rod, though Lidge is shaky. He hasnt had the most consistent career if you know what I mean.... I bet K-Rod finds his way to the allstar game.
March 8, 200917 yr Chipper is the best 3B in the NL East... for the 110-130 times he'll go out there. Since he isn't that much better than Wright the fact that David will show up and play 150+ times makes him the choice.

YOU MISSED ONE THING THAT WOULD PROVE YOUR POINT ABOUT LAZY! THEY SLOTTED HANLEY AT THIRD BASE AND DAVID WRIGHT AT SS LOL!
