2009 NBA Playoffs Thread

WOW Wade just wow.... now close the door, just a couple more minutes.

This was EASILY the best team effort I have seen all season. Beasley, Wade, Haslem, Cook, Chalmers,O'Neal, Moon the list goes on and on of everybody who contributed today. This may be a once a season type of performance, but in the future we can look back at this performance and say "This is the kind of team we want to be"

This easily makes up for the marlins bad series, for me atleast, coming back after getting blown out of game 1, wade is the true MVP, although Stern will pick Lebron. *cough cough*

Dwyane Wade should win an award for Greatest Player on the Plannet Earth

But he can't win a championship by himself and he dosen't have the great support like he did in 2005-2006.

But we are "True" Bigman away from winning that ring again.

I was watching some of the game yesterday...

How anyone can watch that and then call baseball boring I will never know.

Because Rab, basketball is more fastpaaced and people belive baseball has no action but however when they finally play they love it.

It's one of thoose don't judge a book by it's cover, you gotta try before you don't like it kind of situations.

Everyone has their own bias, but you can't say that baseball is a faster-paced game than basketball.

It's not about the pace, it's about the action. Every play is like every other play. Nothing seems important. And God forbid I have to watch the last 5 minutes of the game, which becomes like 30 minutes long because it's nothing but fouls.

Nothing comes close to baseball for me in terms of passion and entertainment.

But I still enjoy Basketball, I mean that sequence at the end of the first quarter had me jumping out of my chair... I do agree I hate the end of games, unless the score is close and the teams don't have to foul, then it's exciting.

What you're saying is very circumstancial. When teams are anywhere from around 7-10 points apart in the last minute of the game, then yes, it can be very boring because of the constant fouling. However, when teams are going back and forth, exchanging leads within the last moments of the game, it's as exciting as anything. Just compare basketball to baseball. What you're talking about would be compared to having a 10 run lead in the bottom of the ninth inning, but a close game at the end is just as exciting as watching the Marlins come from behind in the series against the Nats.

Talking about busting your balls, Starbrownies, that's becoming a trend at the beginning of every sport's playoff at this point.

Heat run will end anyway after they get wiped out by the New York Cavaliers of Cleveland.

lol created your own team, i guess you can call the mets the new york yankees of queens and imagine you've had as much success rather than being the 2nd rate team in ny, oh wait, you already are.

Ask nba fans around the league they'll tell you the same thing about the knicks "the new york knicks franchise is a complete joke."

Ray Allen is clucth

Pierce is Money

ANother close game

2 Point lead in OT 17 seconds left Bulls Ball with the chance to tie

Ben Gordon...nice shot.

WIthout a doubt the best game of the playoffs so far and the best seris so far.

If Ben Gordon was this good in the regular season he could be an MVP canidate

games 1 2 and 4 of this series has been amazing... what a great series. would love to see the bulls steal another one in boston and take the series in chicago.

what a great effort... gordon and rose were awesome. salmons couldn't make a shot the whole game but made some huge baskets in the OTs. Noah and Tyrus with solid games.

what a series

Will the demons of the Atlanta Hawks go away!? Nobody is getting open for Wade. Our shooting has been terrible, offense needs to get it together!

WTF are the Heat doing ?

Wade is taking contested shots and airballing then our dumbass core of Diawara Anthony and Magloire are letting the hawks shot Freethrows like crazy.

We havent made a f***ing shot this quarter

LETS GO

wow, I haven't even noticed we haven't made a shot this quarter. That alone is embarassing. 19 point lead jesus
