May 12, 200917 yr That was a general response to a few people saying it. You don't bat uggla atthe top of the order because his skills are more suited to the 5th spot. The 'uggla to the 2nd spot' posts seem like a reach back to the 'good old days'. Granted, his on base skills have improved to the point where he's not the worst choice for 2, but he's more suited as a 4-5 guy because he's more all or nothing than guys like coghlan, baker, or hermida, who are all more prototypical 2 hitters. Say what you want about me, but I'd like to think for the most part, I back up what I say. I don't just post for the sake of posting. The uggla in the two hole argument went on for damn near two and a half years, and he's still not a two hitter.

I'm willing to accept that he believes that, but I'm also not going to stop thinking opinions can't be wrong. Now, if I think you're opinion is wrong an I back it up with something, why don't you go ahead and back your up with something. Then we can have a discussion. Discussions don't happen when one party can pull out the trump card of 'well it's my opinion, so that's it, you can't question it.' that stifles discussion.
