Posted May 13, 200916 yr They're 6-15 since then. San Diego is the worst at 4-16. The next closest are Baltimore and Cleveland at 8-13, Arizona at 9-13, and Pittsburgh at 7-13. The Nats are 9-11 since then. :anon
May 13, 200916 yr Thank goodness for that great start then. I think the upcoming 10 game home stand will get us back into good form as we haven't really had any prolonged periods playing at home yet this year.

May 13, 200916 yr Let's hope they turn it around. They have been inconsistent. 6-15 is not inconsistent, it's just plain bad. Face it, we've played lousy baseball since the streak, with maybe one or two games as an exception.

May 13, 200916 yr Obviously, the biggest differences have been the offensive production of Uggla and Bonifacio. Bonifacio's drop in production was to be expected. (noone, let alone a rookie is going to hit .500 all season) Uggla however, is letting us down in a big way. The guy isn't even hitting above the Mendoza line right now. Hopefully he can turn it around.

But it is his first full season. He only had 23 AB in 2007 and only 169 in 2008. That's very very veeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrryyyyy limited playing time.

May 14, 200916 yr I read the title and I was surprised there was a worse team. It's too bad we can't play the Nationals every game....
May 14, 200916 yr It's too bad we can't play the Nationals every game.... We're all finding that out right now. We just can't play complete games all the way around. We just don't do it.
