May 25, 200917 yr Just got this from Twitter: Marlins LHP Renyel Pinto placed on 15-day DL with left elbow inflammation (retro to May 23); RHP Cristhian Martinez recalled from AA. I apologise for the lack of information but that's all I have got so far.

May 25, 200917 yr Thank God, this weill give him plenty of time off and hopefully he gets a few apperences in AAA before he gets back up.
May 25, 200917 yr renyel was actually doing very well before his last inning or two.....when hes on we know how could he can be and this could be a blessing in disguise so we dont overuse like fredi loves to do.

May 25, 200917 yr Pretty sure we'll be seeing a lot of bullpen injuries, they are being way overworked and now with the rotation in even worse shape I don't see it improving any time soon =/
May 25, 200917 yr i would say i was hurt as well as after giving up the "tater" pitches for home runs he has given up. this guy needs to hit the road as well........

If thats not the case why not bring back de aza ASAP

So you are saying you would rather have Fredi stick with the SPs that are getting killed by the 4th or 5th innings so he can save the pen?? Or would you prefer we carry 18 pitchers and 7 position players on the roster? Bottom line. Fredi dosen't like overusing that pen. He has no choice.
May 26, 200917 yr Our bullpen just got better. Addition by subtraction. Yeah, I couldn't wait for Martinez to get another chance after his last outing. I'm sure he'll light up the world (or at least a few hitters will light up his).

Probably, but only because he more than likely will not be called on to be a fireman like Pinto was. Martinez will probably only be called in to pitch late in games that are blowouts. Or when Fredi has blown through the bullpen like a sick man through a box of Kleenex and Martinez is the only choice left.
