July 8, 200917 yr I had a great time, however I almost got the sh*t kicked out of me by some drunk ass giants fans. So on that DeAza foul out where the ump called fan interference .... I started yelling "bulls***" along with this other marlin fan right next to me (even though looking back on it, it was prob a good call, lol .... BUT I WAS DRUNK). I started talking sh*t, saying if it was the giants batting, they wouldn't have called fan interference. These 3 drunk ass mexicans started talking so much sh*t (about how we have only 3 fans, etc) ... and then they started talking sh*t about my mom and my dad (my mom passed away not too long back) .... and that sparked me. Punches weren't thrown but it was close..... I actually had to leave after the 8th. I was just surprised giants fans could be so immature and naive .... 24 year olds sounding like a bunch of babies ... just kinda ticked me off .... as well as the outcome of the game, but oh well, we'll salvage 1 tomorrow.

THe Marlin fan next to me was like double my size and chose not to do anything. The mexican guys were northeno bloods (gang related) .... but whatever. Looking back on it, I should have thrown a punch, especially after the comment about my mom.

What you should have done was while "walking away", karate chop the one that talked about your mom in the head, then hall ass. It works every time.

Id Hurt anyone who spoke such things, I dont care if they were a gang , iv confronted a Gang of guys outside my friends house once at night, they could not belive I (just me) was taking on 5 guys, I got in the face of one of them, and the rest walked away, I could have thrown a Very Fast and hard hit to his head (im a boxer) But I dont want to go to jail over a loser who will walk free. Sure you could have taken them on, they would have pissed their pants, thats what loud mouths do when you confront them with a hard fist! But what you dont want is a court date. Insted of watching the game tonight my friend, you could be held in a jail cell. Forget them now, their just a buch of crap that should have beeen terminated at birth. we have all been there before ,Forget them ,just look to the future my friend..

Most likely you would have landed a punch before getting beat up by a bunch of drunk idiots before being kicked out of the stadium and taken to jail for assault. You kept your cool and thought the situation out as opposed to just letting emotion take over your actions. You did the right thing.

You did the right thing. exactly - it's best to let words just roll off, especially when you are outnumbered it's idiotic that people have to derive their self worth based on the actions of millionaire grown men .... but it happens i've been an out of market fan my whole life, so maybe i'm a little more sensitive to this stupidity pride and ego will get you in bad spots as long as someone isn't physically threatening me they can say all they want ..... if friendly banter turns into drunken dopiness, I walk i'm secure enough in myself and in my relationship to others that i'm comfortable just moving on the one exception that would be tough is if someone was crossing the line with a family member / loved one who was standing next to me where I would want to protect them from any additional insults, stress, embarassment ...... however, throwing down and getting beat on by the masses / arrested would probably cause all of those responses as well
