August 11, 200916 yr Why do people keep bringing up Rasmus and his .248/.305/.416? He's not even a starter for the Cards anymore. He's not? Holliday replaced him? So who's in there OF, Holliday, Ankiel and Ludwick?
August 11, 200916 yr Pablo Sandoval had 145 AB's last season so does that mean he still qualify's as a rookie? If he does then he's the ROTY hands down, along will Wells. Yeah he is over the limit by 15 AB's, you have to have less than 130 AB to qualify as a rookie for the following year. Sorry about that, he's still having a monster year though

Thanks i thought for some reason it was 150 AB'S.

It's been heavy on Ankiel though, Rasmus has only started 6 games since they got Holliday on the 24th of last month.
August 11, 200916 yr Honestly, unless Coghlan keeps up his 1.000 OPS performance, I think he has no chance of winning the ROY award. Mccutchen and Happ are ahead of him.

August 11, 200916 yr Yea, I had no idea Sandoval wasn't a rookie. He came out of no where. And LOL at Volquez receiving votes last season.
August 11, 200916 yr Let's also not forget McCutchen is a plus defensive CF (premiumposition) and Coghlan is a below average LFer (where you put yourshitty defensive players).
August 11, 200916 yr Author J.A Happ. A beast. 2.74 ERA and a 1.12 Whip. a beast indeed but i think is harder for a pitch to keep it up and win ROY when you have a lot of good hitters.A bad outing can send him back to and he would have to wait 4 more games to redeem himself.
August 11, 200916 yr Pablo Sandoval, Andrew McCutchen, Colby Rasmus all have a better chance than Coghlan IMO Sandoval's not a rookie. Yep Kung Fu Panda has too many ML at bats last year

I agree it will be much harder for a starter to get it a couple of bad starts and they are out of the race
August 11, 200916 yr Yea, I had no idea Sandoval wasn't a rookie. He came out of no where. And LOL at Volquez receiving votes last season. Kung Fu Panda was called up in August, BTW he struckout alot but Carney Lansford worked with him and made him a better hitter... Why can't we get a real batting coach like Lansford here with the Marlins?
August 11, 200916 yr J.A Happ. A beast. 2.74 ERA and a 1.12 Whip. I was going to mention him. Happ is one of the main reason the Phillies are still leading the division. There rotation was shaky for most of the season, the only true stability they had was Happ pitching like an ace. Definitely ROY at this point.
August 11, 200916 yr also should be noted that Chris is playing well, under tough condition. He never played left field or bat leadoff, before this season, and has done a wonderful job.
