Scouting Report:

Marlins: A big inning hurt Nolasco in his last start Monday at St. Louis. The right-hander gave up four runs on five hits in the first inning, and three more in the fourth. He surrendered seven runs on 10 hits over five innings in the loss. Nolasco had won two straight decisions prior to the setback. He hadn't allowed more than four runs in five straight starts before his appearance at St. Louis.

 

Reds: During his 10th straight quality start in a 3-1 win over the Astros on Monday, Arroyo allowed one run and six hits over seven innings with no walks and six strikeouts. In 12 starts during the second half, Arroyo has a 2.33 ERA. It's a 1.98 ERA over his last 10 starts but he has only three wins in that time.

ricky needs to pitch a good one as arroyo has been hot.. the giants have already lost so a fish win and a rockies loss would make me very happy!

Awful as they've been, they're 10-7 this month, and 17-9 in their last 26 games. They've been playing good baseball.
