I wonder if Cogs plays tonight. He reportedly only sat last night due to a sore left side from his diving catch not because Fredi wanted to give him a night off.

I think Cogz will be back in the line up (even after Brett's performance last night) regardless of whats been reported last night was more of mental day off for Cogz. (needed it big time)

 

 

JJ needs to really put up some nice numbers tonight and get into a rythym early and hope his slider is back to form.

Get off to a solid start through the early innings and not get behind on the count. He needs that nasty slider to do so but he also needs to get that fastball down in the zone more.

Rich brought up a really interesting question... the radar gun measures the speed at which the ball is released. Obviously, the ball arrives at the plate at a slower speed. Who's fastball arrives at home plate at the highest speed?
