Dan Jennings suspended for 50 games

Featured Replies

Damn that sucks, he's pretty much out for the season and he was doing really well.

4-2, 2.56 ERA, his main downside is that he gives up a lot of hits and has a pretty high WHIP of 1.424.

He's another guy who could be valuable down the road in the New Stadium ERA.

“It was an over the counter stimulant and all there is to do now is take responsibility and serve my suspension, Jennings said, via text message. “At the time I had no idea what I was taking had something that was banned in it, but the substance in it was just added to the list. Not an excuse, just a fact. I should have been smarter. Now I pay the price.

Except this case, We've had rarely "quality" lefthanded pitcher in minor system from the first.

Mr. Beinfest. DO SOMETHING.

Well that's a good thing in a way as he's not an addict but he did make a mistake and now has to pay the price.

Hope he bounces back and does well again next year so he can be in the bigs by 2012 or late 2011.

Is there something regulation problem of minor system?

Compared with other teams, we've detected more than a little "juiced" minor players, I think.

It's not a steroid , though. So it's not really "juicing."

It's a stimulant or "recreational drug" in the class not too different from amphetamines and ephedrines that athletes use for concentration. It's not much different from the types of drugs that have been rampant in the clubhouse for decades, but nobody really wanted to talk about it. So one could argue it's a PED in some respects.

Methylhexaneamine is also know as 1,3-dimethylamylamine or DMAA is in a ton of pre workout supplements and fat loss products. I take a pre workout supplement called Jack3d and it's in there. The ingredient must work because I can feel a difference when I take the supplement. While I wouldn't say it gives you a burst of energy, it instead feels like you can do more and go longer.

I totally thought it was VP of Player Personnel that got suspended. I was confused.

Thank you! I was sitting here reading this thread thinking... damn I know that name Dan Jennings from somewhere! Nice one Rab!
