Eddie Altamonte
http://mlb.mlb.com/n...ws_mlb&c_id=mlb Are the Marlins still paying his 401K? He had a 16 year career and it seems the Marlins were paying him for like 8 of those years Considering the amount of innings he pitched for the Marlins (0) it is truely amazing
Admin
I thought he retired like 5 years ago.
Shaft
why would he retire? I'm sure there's a few more teams out there he could rob.
I Love Me Some Fish
He would rake off the Marlins' bench.

He had a 16 year career and it seems the Marlins were paying him for like 8 of those years Considering the amount of innings he pitched for the Marlins (0) it is truely amazing They paid him for a few. 3 or 4 I think. When that trade happened with the Rockies he said he didn't want to come here, he wanted to be on a contender. That's almost a direct quote. Part of that deal was that we would work something out and he would never have to play on our team. Then we went on to win the WS that year. I got over my dislike of him when we hoisted the trophy. Seems to me that was enough nose-rubbing. Then the injuries started piling up, and the rest is history. If we "hate" every player that dosen't want to come here or wants to leave here, then I doubt there will be enough "hate" to go around. But for those keeping a list, add Michael Young. enterthemadness
He could hit home runs....but he used substances to do that. Like Rich Ankiel. Tainted those home runs are. Although if it were HGH, that's one thing. Steroids are BAD. I know Stallone (actor) used HGH or something for some of his recent movies...I see nothing wrong with that, cause he is an actor and he's 60 something.
