May 8, 201115 yr I obstain from this vote. I can't go against either Sanchez. I propose we combine the award for today and give it to Gabibal.
May 9, 201115 yr I need to find a way to get to more games. Marlins are 4-0 in games i've been to this season, including today. As for FOTG...Annibal was DEALING it today. Felt like he actually had no hit stuff.
May 9, 201115 yr good hitting and good pitching. still disappointed that we lost the series as we should have take game 1. gotta play well against the phillies and get morisson back quick. Should have taken game 2 also Also saw Villanuva got shelled for 7 ER and 4 home runs in 5 inns and still got the win .Funny
May 9, 201115 yr on the bright side, Phillies Lost today's game, and the series against the braves. Somehow have managed to make the marlins seem like an offensive juggernaut.

Sometimes the other team has good pitching too, ya know? Like I said in the other thread, the offense was pretty darn good in both Cincinnati and St. Louis.
May 9, 201115 yr Gaby's been doing pretty well this season for someone who was expected to be traded before spring training.
May 9, 201115 yr Gaby's been doing pretty well this season for someone who was expected to be traded before spring training. I felt that unless this team was going to get a legit stud CF, Gabby wasn't going anywhere. As it turns out, the Marlins FO was smarter than the rest of us about Coghlan, which meant that Gabby wasn't going anywhere all along. This team is a legit 3B plus some healthy returns away from a lineup that is pure sex.

I believe the telling part was when Uggla refused to even negotiate. You can't get rid of all your bats, sometimes you have to give up a little defense to keep some offense. Cogs is still learning and so is Logan. But give some props to Espada and what he (and our Special Asst's) have accomplished so far. Seeing he has never coached the OF before, he has been doing a fairly good job.
