June 9, 201115 yr Hi from Jalena ! I didn't see a "Welcome" thread so I'll start my own. I'm originally from Cleveland, OH but we moved from there when I was 2. I live now in the Kendall area of Miami. My husband was a baseball player in college when we met back in 1978 at Miami-Dade CC. So I learned about it from him, and my two boys, who played little league. My husband passed away last year from a very sudden heart-attack, and I miss him so much. My name is pronounced "Ya Lina". So many people give me all kinds of names LOL. My favorite Marlin of all time is CJ, Charles Johnson, as I have known him for years, since he was playing at the University of Miami. My favorite now is Chris Coghlan. He is such a good player, and good looking boy. He is also a strong, strong Christian, and I find that a great quality in a man. He came to talk to us at our church a few months ago, and he is such a dynamic Christian man. Anyhoo.....just thought I would introduce myself. Just a middle aged girl, that likes baseball and remembers being a baseball fan with my husband. I miss you sweetie so much, I loved you Charlie. Posting here may be good therapy for me Any other girls here ? Bye now.
June 10, 201115 yr Author Hi again thanks for the welcome. I am so sad about the team. They just aren't playing well right now. But they will be better Saturday night, I will be there for my 1st game this year. I will box their ears if they lose. LOL.
