7/21/11 Pads @ Fish 12:10PM EST
Are they stealing signs somehow? This is just ridiculous. This my question, sort of. Does their having Maybin, and his familiarity with our system have anything to do with this? Is he giving them tips?

Who does Wes Helms think he is?
Just saying, what if Wes didn't "go" to the media, but they asked him the question. Doesn't that change your perception of all this?

Team colors may very well be Red,Orange,Yellow, and Blue
Oh my. Not so sure those would go together. I do have outfits in 3 of the colors so that wouldn't be a problem. But let's just "YAY" over having a new stadium no matter what. Its been way too long in coming.

Coghlan has setback
Poor Chris. He is such a decent young man. I still admire him a great deal for his Christian values and ideals. A real role model for our young players and children.

That Gonzalez thread got me to thinking
Is it reasonable to conclude that the drafting of Realmuto was a sign the Marlins, as an organization, are admitting that Skipworth is a bust, or close to a bust? Can Skipworth become a pitcher? Any statistics on him?

Volstad is done
Before you guys continue to spew worthless crap, I would ask you to take a look at the list of pitchers most similar to him through age 23. they're all mediocre to poor... point is, since his wonderful rookie season, he has a WAR under 0. nothing about that is good. Similarity scores produce: Ben Sheets, Moose Haas, Brett Hayes, Edinson Volquez, Ryan Dempster, Ervin Santana, Tom Brewer, Melido Perez. In that group there is good, mediocre, and poor. Volstad is at an age when most pitchers are rookies, and pitching is a skill that typically comes later. Then send him back to the minors until he ever gets good. While you may have a point about the age thing what are we supposed to do have him continue to lose games until he learns how to pitch? The only way to learn to get good at this level, is to play at this level.

"Loria Speaks" Miami Herald Article
People on those comments don't like Loria very much. He has done nothing short of miracle work since buying the team. We have won a championship and been competitive every year, what is their problem? :mad Like? Other than signing Pudge and trading for Urbina he hasnt done much.. Oh that right he traded Miguel Cabrera and Willis for quantity over quality.. Dodgers were offering Matt Kemp and Chad Billingsly He has had a team that is competitive each and every year. In 2007 it was because of injuries that we fell down a little. In every other season, despite budget constraints we are in the race. And he is getting us that stadium. That alone makes him the best owner the Marlins have ever had.

7/14 Post Game
I'm considering it, but for now I've got a good friend on here that I've been talking to who's been helping me a bit. We'll see, I mostly just need more distractions (school, job, etc). Working on all of that. Good keep working on it. I'm glad someone is helping you, because its not something one can work on by yourself. Work hard and you will overcome. Stay positive

7/14 Post Game
Fall asleep, down 2-0. Wake up, "win!" ...wut? Silly boy, that's why you need to stay awake and YAY, CHEER FOR VICTORY! Well, being that my depression keeps coming and going, I haven't gotten much sleep lately, and when I have, its been at the wrong times (IE, falling asleep at 9 am...) so excuse me this once. Serious Mike, have you seen a mental health councillor about that depression? Its a very serious thing. I have seen several members of my family have horrible experiences with it. You should see an expert with no delay.

That Gonzalez thread got me to thinking
I read that Realmuto also has played some in the infield. Was he drafted to definitely play catcher and be competition for Skipworth? Or could they also be grooming him to play an infield position? Or both ?
