July 16, 201113 yr Javy still going strong (10k, 0 bb) and the offense this time backs him up. Most runs scored all season, we need more laughers like that one.

July 16, 201113 yr I voted Javy. By the time Stanton hit his seconnd one it was already a 5-0 lead. Javy still pitched very well even though he had enough run support to slip up a bit.
July 16, 201113 yr Woah, what a game. I had no idea we were playing this early. I thought that thread enterthemadness started about Javier Vasquez was a joke.
July 16, 201113 yr I asked in the game thread. What does chris hatcher have? What kind of stuff does he have? Really curious
July 16, 201113 yr Chris Hatcher threw all fastballs from what I saw. Had a decent fastball, threw strikes. I think his secondary pitches are a work in progress, slider and change.
July 16, 201113 yr Pitching wins games I always go with pitching ahead of offense. It was nice to see the Offense show up today as well Stanton has 20 on his way to 40 for the year! I love the Fish!
July 16, 201113 yr all around great offensive game, even the backup catcher had 2 hits. kind of a out of the blue question, but when baker is ready to catch again do you think it's fair to send hayes down since he's played so well this season?

July 16, 201113 yr I asked in the game thread. What does chris hatcher have? What kind of stuff does he have? Really curious Mid 90s fastball, upper 80s slider/cutter, and he's got a changeup too. He had a 1-2-3 inning and looked pretty good in his debut.
July 16, 201113 yr great win after yesterday and i just wish javy wouldnt have given up that 2-out homer his line would have been excellent. nice to see the offence finally do something.
July 16, 201113 yr Author Did anyone else get turned on after Stanton's homers? The harder he hits it the harder I get. I don't know why, but Bonifacio legging out an infield hit gets my juices going like no other.
July 16, 201113 yr I was at the game today. It was awesome. Mike Stanton MAN CRUSH is in full effect.
July 17, 201113 yr Forgot it was a day game. I would love to get to a game against the cubs. Magnus, how great was it to see an asskicking in front of all those cub fans?
July 17, 201113 yr Also, Bonifacio's a .287 hitter now. I love it. Hanley's right under .250 now. Never thought I'd be "happy" to see that. Lol
July 17, 201113 yr Start. Brett. Hayes. Also, Bonifacio's a .287 hitter now. With a decent/improved walk rate. Gasp!
