Scott Kazmir just got released and for good reason, however the way our pitching is going right now it's time to throw crap on the wall and see what's sticks at worse we just release him again

Vazquez and Volstad have the worst ERA's in the Majors among pitchers who have at least 10 starts, yes they are 1 and 2 in that category, that won't get us to the playoffs.

As sad as it is I'd rather have those number then 7 era that Volstad and Vazquez are giving us right now.

Those numbers are irrelevant. His velocity is down considerably and he doesn't know how to throw strikes anymore. Think about it. The Angels swallowed 14 mil to get rid of him. He's probably a waste of time.

We could do both, there's no risk involved in signing Kazmir to a minor league deal. If he could find the strike zone again down the line we could have a steal.
