How is it going to play out to the public if Loria fires the coaches, and sends the players away just before the opening of the new stadium? Would the public think its another give away and not trust him like they said last time in 2006? Won't that hurt ticket sales? And will he have to buy new guys with a higher price tag for next year? I hope he is willing to spend some money because it looks like the team is losing hope in him, when they think he is going to change the coach.

i like see how many people will go marlins game next few home stand??

Ok woman relax, in hale deep then exhale. I know we are in a bit of a hole here this season but all is not lost. It would make no sense for Loria to dismantle the team we have now, that would kill his ticket sales for next year. All he needs to do is cough up the dough for 2 quality pitchers and a good veteran bat.

The coaches may go and I think that is a mistake move if he goes through with it. I don't care what manager he brings no one can fix Volstad/Vazquez. Best thing they can do is get rid of the two bums we keep throwing on the mound, that will definitely please the fans.

Well if does it during the season and they go on a winning streak he'll look like a genius. We all know he isn't that. As for sending players away that's happened every year as long as he keeps Hanley and JJ he'll be okay. As for ticket sales they're up for the new stadium and should be for a year or two with that hopefully he'll get off of his wallet and invest in pitching better than Vazquez.

Loria WILL NOT have anything near a firesale or anything that looks like panic mode because thats exactly what critics of the Marlins are waiting for. If Loria does that, people will say "Oh there go the Marlins up to their old tricks again" and we'll lose all the casual support for the new ballpark. Loria knows he has to keep an even keel right now even with the on-field struggles.

You realize it's not cool to speak to her like this, right?

I personally won't care if he ships a bunch of people off this offseason. Obviously there's some glaring holes in the team right now so it wouldn't bother me. I've got a good feeling they'll spend some more money for next season as well. I'm pretty curious how the team will look next year actually. It'll probably look real different.

Says who? You?

I said it playfully if you don't see it that way well it wasn't directed toward you anyways.

I thought it was funny and playfull I guess you didn't get that?

"Pitching and defense. Pitching and defense. Pitching and defense."

Our offense now cant score.....

Well, it's not like keeping Uggla would've helped.

We can't pitch either.

LOL Thanks for defending me, but I took it as funny, so no harm done. I feel better now that you guys had your say. I guess Mr. Loria has to do what he thinks is best and we need to support him, and the team.

Okay now lets Cheer for Victory tonight! We are going to win and win BIG!
