Webb not available for bullpen day - maybe more than that

Featured Replies

Sanches and Badenhop eat enough innings to be considered a quality start anyways. Mujia and Dunn also can carry the back end of the game. We should be fine for the game, but the 'maybe more than that' part kinda does bother me.

The ripple effect is that Sanches and Badenhop then also aren't available for a couple of days. And with Webb not available possibly for a couple of days, then you all of a sudden have a 4-man bullpen for a couple of nights. That's really difficult to manage, especially when 1 of those guys is a LOOGY.

This is when you might use that Choate in the outfield plan.

I certainly wouldn't put that past Jack, remember he moved Willis around in the batting order. Thats right up his alley.
