9/4 Postgame

Well that was a long long long game. Very annoying to watch with all the men left on base.

A good win thought and the bullpen kept going when the offense stopped every time we had men on.

Great win.

23 men left on base, a new franchise record.

Runners in Stranding Position.

Stranded in Running Position.

Position of Stranded Running.

... Kinky.

They say when you turn 24 your chances at death in life are at its highest rate...

Unless you're a rockstar. Then its 27.

Ummm....

No comprende.

A lot of famous rockers have died at 27. Jimi Hendrix. Jim Morrison. Janis Joplin. And others.

Oh... right...

Well no if you read my post over again... your chance of death in life... is always 100%.

Oh I see. You meant if probability, not when probability.

Anyway...

Why is the fan interference play being called controversial? It looked cut and dry to me.

Because you can't go to video review for fan interference.

And there was no reason to review that play for being a HR because I think we all knew it wasn't a HR.

Right call made. MLB needs fan interference replay. Shouldn't have been reviewed like u say.

Absolutely the right call, just should've been made without video review.

But there should be a rule allowing video review to be called upon for fans interfering in fair territory plays.

I didn't see the game and Sportscenter was focusing more on whether the call was correct or not. They only hinted at the fact that it wasn't supposed to be reviewable.

When have the umps ever called fan interference without instant replay help? Maybe once that I can remember. I wish NBA refs had the balls to change calls that aren't supposed to be reviewable.

Is that ump actually gonna get in trouble for getting the call right?

I'm fairly certain the issue of the matter is accepted as... "if there is a play being reviewed as a home run the umpires must use all evidence present to make the correct call".

Being that regardless of what is in the review, if it's there, they use it.

I don't really know though.
