September 7, 201113 yr Skipworth is a lost cause, unfortunately. I thought he was going to be a stud, too. Oh well.
September 7, 201113 yr So do you think the organization "skips" next year on Kyle ? (I couldn't resist - and it made me feel better about something that is a sore spot for us all)
September 7, 201113 yr He's still only 21, so they shouldn't give up on him yet. I forgot he was that young, but he has been looking like one in a long line of Beinfest failures.
September 7, 201113 yr He's still only 21, so they shouldn't give up on him yet. It would've been worth it to skip him in the draft, though.
September 7, 201113 yr Or, they realize he's a Catcher (many of whom are late bloomers) and signed Buck for 3 years for a reason.
September 8, 201113 yr Realmuto > Skip  Agreed. If I could update my signature, I would. But something's wrong. Anyway, here is his final line. .287/.347.454. 12 HRs and 13 Steals. And he's only 20.
September 8, 201113 yr Yelich James and Fernandez will be the top 3, and it's going to be real scary past that. I expect Marinez, Ozuna, and Jensen to be somewhere within the next 5. After that, really have no idea. It's going to be all upside and no stable projection. Maybe Realmuto. Maybe Rasmussen.
September 8, 201113 yr I think our top prospects in order are Yelich, Realmuto, Fernandez, Ozuna. Yeah, our prospects are really meh. Although Yelich and J.T look really cool.
September 8, 201113 yr Probably a better minor league thread, but I'll give it a shot 1.Yelich-OF, 2.Jensen-OF, 3. James-P, 4. Fernandez-P, 5. Canha-1B, 6. Realmuto-C, 7. Ozuna-OF, 8. Rasmussen-P, 9. Mattison-OF, 10.Alvarez-P give or take a player or two and without Fernandez showing much especially in his start at Jamestown and subtracting Dominguez. Also some consideration could be made for Dan Jennings.
