We aren't allowed to win 4 in a row. It's just not possible.

Looks like we wont sweep anyone in the playoffs :(

That is... if we go to the playoffs.

PANTHER POLARITY FEELINGS.

Also, Ed Jovonovski sucks major. Like... he is garbage. Really, really bad. Gudbranson doesn't exactly 'help' being on that pairing, either.

In fact, if we could replace those two with real defenders, we'd be in good shape. Well, Gudbranson stays by default. So just replace old man Jovo.

I miss Kulikov

Gudbranson isn't a bad defender at all. He's improved greatly since the beginning of the season. He definitely doesn't benefit being paired with Jovo though. He was doing fine with Campbell.

Err... Gudbranson is pretty bad. Especially in the offensive zone. Can't hold a puck in much less work the puck at the point or make a good pass (or get a shot on net). Don't get me wrong, he's got his moments where the future shows up in him, but overall he's pretty bad.

He also turns it over a lot. And he did a dumbass move today trying to use a stick backwards. Always use the stick on the forehand, even if it's not your handedness. Otherwise, exactly what happened... will happen.

The next 4 games don't get any easier. Missing Versteeg isn't going to help. And I don't think Kulikov will be back until the end of the month. :(

Well, he's not worse than Ellerby.

I'm thinking that playing alongside Jovanovski makes him look like an idiot because when Guds has been paired with some of the other guys, he's looked fine.

Can Jovanovski just retire already? Tonight would be nice.

Oh you're being overly critical of Ellerby. Ellerby does a fine job for a #6 kinda guy. That little mistake he made today... pales in comparison to the big buffoon Jovo looked like tonight.

I already called Jovanovski the worst defenseman in the NHL. He sucks.

I don't think I'm being overly critical of Ellerby at all. That wasn't the only bad play he had tonight. I think he has stone hands and often looks like a moron with the puck. It's a shame because he's a pretty good skater. His turnovers are laughably bad, though.

I dunno. I think he does a fine job and certainly looks like he's panning out and way from the 'bust' category.

Worst in the NHL is not good enough. He needs more than retirement. He needs a retirement home.

Ed Jovanovski is the worst f***ing defenseman in the NHL.

4-year deal.

35+ deal, he can retire whenever he wants, he's guaranteed his money.

Jack Skille scoring on a play to the net...

If that can happen, maybe we WILL make the playoffs. God only knows both of them were highly unlikely at the beginning of the season.
