Posted February 6, 201213 yr O's quest to finish last has been improved by their trade of Mark Guthrie to Colorado for Jason Hammel and former Marlin Matt Lindstrom. While we're at it former Fish Brad Penny and Jorge Sosa have signed to play in Japan for the 2012 season
February 6, 201213 yr It's pretty sad how far the Orioles have fallen. This move makes no sense. Not that it makes much more sense for Colorado either, to be fair.
February 6, 201213 yr Matt Lindstrom is only 1 piece in a trade for the guy who led the league in losses. LOLZ. The ERA wasn't that bad, though, really.

February 6, 201213 yr Actually, Jeremy Guthrie kinda sucks. The fact that the Orioles are terrible doesn't make him any less mediocre as a pitcher. He's an overpaid, backend of the rotation arm with limited to no upside. Â In terms of value, it's actually a better trade for the Orioles.

February 15, 201213 yr I agree with Erick...the Orioles have one of the most inept front offices in baseball. They don't seem to have any plan whatsoever.
