Followed by that, Bonifacio makes the error.

He walks the next guy, yeah, but then he should have struck out Quentin [ball 4 on a pitch that should have been strike 3]. Inning over, no harm done.

 

Instead, it was continuing, a run already in, then a misplay by Ruggiano. *shrug*

For what it's worth, I think Zambrano sucks as well. Just saying, this inning isn't his fault.

 

It's more of our sh*tty outfield play making our pitching look worse than it is. I'm so glad we acquired Carlos Lee to continue watching the adventures of Logan Morrison in LF.

 

The Ruggiano play (Ruggiano has actually been pretty good out there, in general) is normally a sac fly. He misread that ball.

It's called mop up duty for a reason. Really the only time he has pitched this year is when the game was well out of reach and the result of his inning(s) didn't matter.

My point is that every hit in that inning was catchable and there was also an error in the inning. Weird timing to point out that he sucks when he's sucked all year and the fanbase hasn't really had a problem with it. All in all, I do hope he gets released at some point. Watching him pitch at this point in the season is a waste of time.
