November 30, 201213 yr Jordan Walden is a good pitcher that got buried in the Angels. Atlanta has a bullpen from hell ... games can be pretty much done by the 6th inning now.

November 30, 201213 yr Hanson is injury prone which has put a halt to his rise to top of the rotation status and the Braves have a wealth of minor league starters that can replace him. Walden is an all star calibre reliever. Nice deal for the Bravos.
November 30, 201213 yr Hanson was also a salary relief/dump from Atlanta's standpoint. Potentially upgrading their already solid 'pen is a bonus here.
