Hotcorner
well since these are all coming out lately here's the report from John Sickels at minorleagueball.com, he always does a thorough job. Reflects pretty well on the marlins system right now. I think I agree with these rankings as much as any others I've seen. Has notes on all these guys, good stuff. http://www.minorleagueball.com/2012/12/8/3745088/miami-marlins-top-20-prospects-for-2013 1 Fernandez RHP 2 Yelich OF 3 Nicolino RHP 4 Ozuna OF 5 Heaney LHP 6 Marisnick OF 7 Hechevarria SS 8 Brantly C 9 Conley LHP 10 Dietrich IF 11 Realmuto C 12 Urena RHP 13 Hope RHP 14 Silverio OF 15 Romero IF 16 Kolby Copeland OF 17 Charlie Lowell LHP 18 Grant Dayton LHP 19 Tom Koehler RHP 20 Austin Brice RHP by grades: A Fernandez A- Yelich B+ Nicolino B Ozuna, Heaney B- Marisnick, Hechevarria, Brantly, Conley, Dietrich, Realmuto C+ Urena, Hope, Silverio, Romero, Copeland, Lowell, Dayton, Koehler, Brice, Barnes, Cox, Flynn, Solorzano

Hotcorner
Assuming they hang onto Stanton of course, the outfield *should* really shape up nicely. There's a nice mix of power, speed, average, and defense, and they're all average to above-average defensively. No trying to fit square pegs into round holes. Ozuna could be a nice corner OF power bat to go along with Stanton, kind of a Giancarlo-lite. Two guys with power and great throwing arms. Marisnick is attractive because they wouldn't have to worry about whether Yelich can stick in CF (although IF Yelich is able to handle center then he becomes all the more valuable). And now you've got Silverio who may be in the mix as well (I've seen him described similar to Juan Encarnacion) and he could get an earlier look than the other guys if he's healthy. So there's good depth in case one of them falters, and even opens up trade possibilities if they all pan out.

fanofthefish
I've watched the development of Ozuna and can see he has a lot of power potential, he seems to project as a corner outfielder. I don't know much about Marisnick, but if he's the CF'er of the future I could see the Marlins moving Yelich back to 1b(thats what he was in HS) if Lomo doesn't produce as expected. It would feel like a waste of Yelich's speed and skills if he were at 1B, though.

Yea, that's the entire reason they made him an outfielder after high school to begin with... lol
