Posted May 22, 201311 yr The Marlins won two games in a row, and score three runs against the Phillies today...but reality was bound to catch up with us. The only good news is that no one was at the ballpark to see this game (shots of the lower bowl showed plenty of seats disguised as fans), which means no one wasted their money to see the team crashing back to reality. PS: The Astros are winning 3-0 against KC, which gives us a shot at winning the race for the bottom.
May 22, 201311 yr Hey lets give Ruggiano the night off after he gets two big hits. Redmond has a lot to learn.
May 22, 201311 yr Although Coghlan hit a triple, he also missed a catch in CF that Ruggiano probably would have made.
May 22, 201311 yr Juan Pierre and Placido Polanco should retire. They probably would have, had the Marlins not been so desperate this year.
May 22, 201311 yr Was at the game. Public parking, $3 tickets, beer from walgreens, food outside the park. Total spent = $13 doll hairs Ive gone to 4 games this season and spent a total of 8 dollars on chicken tenders once

May 22, 201311 yr Hey lets give Ruggiano the night off after he gets two big hits. Redmond has a lot to learn. It's really mind boggling especially considering yelich will most likely be our CF in a month. Let Ruggiano play and get the trade value better (if there's even some to begin wtih)
May 22, 201311 yr Redmond has been a poor decision maker so far. IMO. Yeah, in fact I'd say he's been absolutely terrible. Much of that probably has to do with having little experience, but that's precisely why you shouldn't hire a manager after only two years in A ball.

Absolutely terrible is about how I'd rate his performance so far. My favorite Red move thus far was the Ozuna sacrifice with 1st and 2nd and no outs to get to the "meat" of our lineup aka coghlan/mathis....
May 22, 201311 yr Juan Pierre and Placido Polanco should retire. Why would they? They're getting paid very handsomely for doing very little.
