Ruggiano headed to 1st?

. It's not exactly the hardest position to play

Love the movie quote but in all seriousness you could put the most uncoordinated player there and they won't be too awful. Would imagine an already solid fielder in Ruggiano could learn easily with the help of Perry Hill.

Yea hardest part of learning and adjusting to first base is positioning, and Perry can help with that. By the end of ST he would be fine.

Ruggiano would have a top-notch first base arm, ya!

I'll put it this way, I moved from 3B to 1B when I had shoulder issues last year in college and I fared fine. I'm sure a more athletic player like Rugiano could do it as well.

Among first or third basemen, were you ranked #69 in the nation?

LOL doubt it.

EDIT: I hate you

I doubt he would have many issues picking the ball. Positioning is the one thing you don't really think about until you make that switch, and it's so important.

He'd have the best arm for a 1b in the biz!

Ruggiano at first will be fine its not like Garrett Jones is reminding anyone of Keith Hernandez

Ruggiano may actually end up being the better fielder of the 2 after awhile

I really don't want his bat in the lineup anymore. I liked the idea of converting Ozuna or one of the younger outfielders.

Boy i just don't even want him on the team anymore. I would trade him and find another righty who actually plays first. He gives me bad memories of the last two years.

Hey, don't be dissing my main man Rugs.
