May 15, 201412 yr Realmuto is our best hitting prospect it seems. Hope to see him in the September callups.

May 15, 201412 yr We must be in trouble. Why? I understand Realmuto has never really hit above .270 but its nice to have faith in a guy who could possibly be our future backstop. According to many, he is also a plus defender at catcher.
May 15, 201412 yr I'm super excited about Realmuto. But if he is our best offensive prospect we are in deep shit.

May 15, 201412 yr I'm super excited about Realmuto. But if he is our best offensive prospect we are in deep s***. Well, he was considered a pretty good pick in the second round for us primarily because of his hit tool. I don't think it's incredibly surprising that he's figured it out. This isn't some career minor leaguer who has sucked for years. Catchers take a little while longer to develop, so I don't think this is unexpected or a bad reflection on our farm system. It's something that might actually be going right for once.
