Hey!

Saw your question yesterday, but didn't get a chance to respond (regarding who I would choose to manage the team.)

Honestly, I have no answer for that as far as a name, but I think it would be interesting to find a guy who actually looks at stats and splits and runs a game based on win expectancy and not by "old fashioned" things like bunts and intentional walks.

Me. I'll manage the team. :)

Do we really see Yelich ending up as a #3 hitter? I didn't follow him much coming up, to be honest. Does his power tool (heh...) project to give him #3 hitter potential?

It's probably due to bias, but does anyone else notice how much more smoothly Simmons handles things than our own supposed defensive wizard?

I know it's comparing apples to bad shortstops, but still...

I dont expect him too. Doesn't have much pop (maybe 15-18 jacks yearly). I expect him at the leadoff or 2nd. He's a high on base percentage player

I honestly think lead-off is fine for him. He has a good eye, can go the other way well, can bunt VERY well, has speed, has a little bit of pop - what's not to like with him in the lead-off spot, honestly? Second would be fine, as well, considering his good eye.
