Too bad the Padres organization is relatively similar to ours. They compete every few years then start the losing streak, never lock down their best talent long-term due to payroll constraints, are built around a pitchers park, etc etc etc. Although the Padres spend just enough money that Beinfest could thrive. He is a great GM for a team between $70-90 Million payroll. Just enough money to keep your talent and still keep you creative in the market if that makes any sense. Anything more he probably spends it badly, anything less and he's forced to trade everybody (Miguel Cabrera, anyone?).

June 26, 201412 yr I'm all thumbs- it's gonna hurt when I break the seal. Side note: went looking for a person doing the fisting motion like in 22 jump street---- doesn't exist..... I won't be back though for a few mins, what I found was.... Riveting.
