I don't understand why Rich and Tommy keep saying "surprisingly never faced the Cardinals" - we have a 5 man rotation, and play the Cardinals for 6-7 times a year. Same with Miller not facing us. You get a decent chance of facing the team in a 3 game series, more in a 4 gamer obviously, but it's not like we're playing them 12 times a year where it would be more expected to face off.

 

Not only that, Alvarez and Miller have only played in the NL for a year and a half, not exactly that surprising. Meh.
