Pretending that Casey Mcgehee is a great defensive player because he has a low total of errors is stupid.

He makes all the plays that he can get to and that is all you can ask. He is very solid defensively. Others might have more range but what good does range do you when you make 20 or 25 errors?

That's not the point.

For example, Tommy Hutton was making it seem like Mcgehee is a better defensive player than Matt Carpenter because he has less errors. That is not true.

They're saying ignorant things, and it's annoying.

WHY IS MORRIS PITCHING THIS IS KEVIN GREGG'S INNING

We're not winning, though, Gregg comes in when we have the lead.

You're not thinking.

If we use Kevin Gregg when we're losing, who are we going to use to blow leads when we're winning?

It's important to not make errors on balls that are hit to you, but simply making fewer errors than someone else doesn't automatically make you a better defender. If I play shortstop and stand absolutely still, I'll probably make fewer errors than a guy like Simmons who is all over the infield.

Casey just jumped in place. Gold glove.

Dat range factor, doe.

I think he was being sarcastic about the errors when comparing him against Carpenter. I think Tommy's main point is that McGehee is more deserving of an all star roster spot than Carpenter.

Mike Dunn better not be responsible for this run. It would be the first earned run allowed by Bryan Morris as a Marlin. This moment right here is history!

Redmond: "Blue! Blue! Challenge!"

Ump: "The ball isn't even in play yet, Mike."

Redmond: "He pinch hit for a pinch hitter! You can't do that!"

Ump: "LOL HASHTAG REDMOND THINGS"

Still perfect!!!

... did I just hear the name Brooks Kieschnick?

Oh, it's Roger. Slip of the tongue, maybe.

I loved Brooks. The Marlins have Micah Owings in AA, who is trying to do something similar with his career (as if Redmond could ever figure out how to use him)

Addison Reed is probably the worst closer in baseball. Then again, Vidal Nuno is probably the worst starter so whatever.

Brooks Kieschnick stopped playing in 2005, but I know what you mean.

I remember you drafted Reed in fantasy baseball 3 years ago.
