Turner Back in the Rotation?

Wouldn't it just be easier to forfeit those games instead?

That's what we're doing.

Turner will just be throwing batting practice to the other team so that they don't get rusty with the extra day off.

95 games played, 67 to go.

It took 90 wins (CIN) to sneak into a play-off spot last year. And TEX won 91 and didn't make it.

At 44-51, to win 90 they would have to go 46-21. That's .687 ball over 2.5 months.

Ain't gonna happen no matter who or how many they might acquire.

Since Stanton apparently now thinks he's the GM (“we have to make a push; "no more backpedaling or revamping,") with any luck they don't listen to him and trade away the future because the entire idea is ridiculous at this point. Stanton should stick to figuring out what it was that he forgot about hitting for the last two weeks.

As far as wins and losses, at this point we just need to find out how much of an improvement we've got over 2013.

A nice first couple months makes our recent struggles sting a bit but really, think back to last October. If you had told me we could win 70 something games in 2014, I'd have taken that in a heartbeat. At least we aren't going backwards.
