Wild Card
As entertaining a pitcher as any I've ever seen, and a dominant one for many years. Great career, Z.

sdg210
what a great 2008 hitting year he had. Is that the best hitting year for a SP ever? I think a guy by the name of Baby Ruth had a slightly better year.

Michael
I think a guy by the name of Baby Ruth had a slightly better year. Home runs as a pitcher by Babe Ruth: 1914 - 0 1915 - 4 1916 - 3 1917 - 2 1918 - 2 1919 - 3 So I'm gonna give Zambrano's 2008 a nod over any of these, considering he also hit .337 that year. [emoji6] As a pitcher- I'm sure babe ruth didn't hit 54 home runs In The 30+ games he pitched. Separate his OF stats and his pitching day stats like "The GenderBender" did. Piazza31
And yet, he did. So your saying, on days babe ruth started as a pitcher- he hit 54 home runs? Show me.

Got better things to do than look at stats all day but he post a 4.50 ERA that year.
Michael
In 1920, he pitched 4 innings. In 1921, he pitched 9 innings. Come on, bro. Don't even need to do semi-in depth research for that one. I showed you what he did in the days he pitched in my post in 1914-1919. 1920, he became a full time outfielder and pretty much stopped pitching. Yes but your stats indicated he had 11 HR in 1919 when he had 29.
Michael
What the hell are you talking about? You yourself posted 11 home runs in 1919. I posted he had 3 as a pitcher that year.
