December 4, 201411 yr 4/44 for a guy worth 2 WAR over the last 2 years. This Stanton contract is looking better and better
December 4, 201411 yr Braves did ugly job again. To add Markakis means they have to sell Justin Upton, cause of payroll. A few team (Red sox and Dodgers, etc) will try to sell their OF at Winter Meeting. I don't understand why Braves did that. Maybe Braves fan feel so terrible RF defense next season.
December 4, 201411 yr http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/what-are-we-missing-about-nick-markakis/ Fangraphs are getting angry about this.
December 4, 201411 yr Smart move- Braves turned a Georgia born Gold Glove RF about to get very expensive into two cost controled SP with upside and a Georgia born Gold Glove RF with a four year deal. Hayward was / is getting 6 to 7 years on the open market.
December 4, 201411 yr Hayward was / is getting 6 to 7 years on the open market. Let's sign him! Move Stanton to first!
December 6, 201411 yr Let's sign him! Move Stanton to first! Heyward/Ozuna/Yelich would be ridiculous defensively.
