its different in baseball. we have a full regular season and a playoff system, same thing in college bball. in football where you depend on polls and you pretty much need to go undefeated there's no way a team that cant win its own conference should be playing for the national title.

I'm sure we will hear that they are 'tweaking' the formula once again, so that it will be wrong again next year.

As for Michigan? 2 losses don't get you anywhere buddy. So, take off your Wolverine shades, and look at the real world. The Wolverines are not one of the top 2 teams this season in the country.
