Man if stanton truly can rev it up and hit 60, then i will be impressed. More importantly are wins so for him to do this, i hope the bases are loaded everytime up

So he has to hit 60 home runs for you to be impressed and admit he's a superstar? You are a bag of douche.

I'm genuinely curious....... What does an insane person such as yourself do for a living?

I envision you living in your mothers basement and collecting disability.

just stop

not worth getting into a debate with you

aaaaaaand this is the definition of out of context. Only a handful of players have hit at least 60 and 2 of them to my knowledge never to be on enhancements. That "I'll be impressed" part simply refers to other great players that have not even come close

What a beat down that was. Marlins had the advantage IMO coming into the game facing Eovaldi but they really got to him good. The Stanton blast was something else.

I'll be moderately affected if Jose pitches perfect games in all his starts for the rest of his career.

I actually think he will pitch one soon

If Stanton goes 0-4 today it will nullify everything he has done this week and I will call out his lack of production.

you just can't let it go huh.

That's not strictly fair seeing as you filled the game threads moaning about your perception of Stanton's lack of production for the whole first two months of the season.

what I was seeing was the truth. For the last two weeks you havent heard anything from me. If there is a guy I can turn my attention to could be somebody like bour, but truth be told, if we are winning then I fold up my grievances anyway.

No, you weren't. As was often pointed out to you, what you were seeing was a young guy (25) dealing with (a) the pressure of being expected to deliver on the largest-ever contract in sports history, and (b) returning to the game after his previous season was curtailed with a baseball in the face that resulted in a fucking load of pain (you may have noticed that Stanton no longer flinches at inside pitches). Despite 'slumping' he was still the MLB RBI leader and was neck and neck with Harper for HR leader.

Most of us recognised this, and understood that Stanton was very likely to start the season a little slow before returning to his Stantonesque best, which he is now doing, although he's currently out-Stantoning himself.

As I said, most of us recognised this, but all you did was go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about it.

You even said that once that Stanton's multi-million pound contract was 'a big mistake'. That was the dumbest thing ever posted on here until someone said Dan Haren should be given a four-year deal.
