I'm dreading Michael Arthur morse returning

As bad as he is out there defensively, this is the time to try out Morse in right field, with Stanton out, Ichiro struggling , and Bour hot for now. Kinda got nothing to lose right now.

We would have to shift Ozuna to RF and Yelich to CF in order for that to work.  Although, if Morse doesn't tear it up with the bat, what's the point?

But if Morse does pick it up with the bat it's a nice short term boost. If he doesn't the alternative is Cole Gillespie or a scuffling Ichiro, which is where my point of "it's worth a try" comes from.

Eh.  I'm willing to put a little faith in Ichiro pulling out of his rut sooner rather than later.  Dude may be aging, but it is my opinion that he is still much too good a player to be playing this bad, and I'm willing to bet on the sooner on him getting some of those slap shots into holes somewhere.

What I'm saying is I'd rather have a slightly broken Ichiro in the outfield then a Morse anywhere near it.  Morse can come back and play first when Bour begins to struggle again, or possibly returning to the platoon role until he proves either he's good enough to be everyday or that he just doesn't have it anymore.  At least that is my hope on how they treat it.

On that note, just saddens me just how much of a disappointment this outfield has been.  Going into the season I would have ranked them top 2 in the league. Yelich is getting back in to the swing of things which is great, but something is wrong with Ozuna, and I don't even want to talk about the other guy cause that just makes me cry a little bit.

The other guy was amazing, though, prior to ... well, yeah.

Odd as it may sound, Ozuna still has the power this year, but he's just directing all of it into the ground.

I'd rather have Ichiro too. There's no way Morse is the answer in right field until Stanton gets back. But its a fact that Ichiro is in a rut right now. I literally meant Morse is worth a look in right field for like the next week and nothing more. After that you have to believe that either Bour is backing to sucking, Ichiro finds his swing, Morse is either hitting or not, or even that Gillespie gets a few decent games in there. At that point things should fall back into place.

I'm with ya. Nothing wrong with trying a thing or two and see if it works.

Jennings secretly breaking Stanton's hand has worked out pretty well thus far.

Summed up my sex life right there.

Woah I just realized, some of us are making jokes on how the Marlins have gone 5-1 since Stanton went down, but truthfully we've gone 5-1 since we became 100% Solano-Free!

How glorious is that!?
