Phelps to DL, Erik Cordier up

I still don't know who this guy is, where did he come from.  Did we just invent a player

I agree. Sounds like it comes from a name generator.

But I said the same thing about Cole Gilliespie so yeah.

I'd put a pretty confortable wager that's he's better than Andre Rienzo and not any worse than mike dunn.

Dunn has a guaranteed contract based on past performance.

I wouldn't want Wittgren to get a promotion to fill a Rienzo type role.

My point is that every time a reliever is called up now, people ask why not Wittgren as if he's the second coming of Craig Kimbrel or something. Guys like Barraclough, Ellington, and Cordier are just as deserving of promotions. I'm guessing Wittgren will get a shot at some point this year too so it's not a big deal.

well, it's kind of a running gag at this point more than anything. I have no issue with all those hard throwing high k guys getting called up. Our bullpen right now is like the exact opposite of our SPs k wise.

Rienzo isn't being used in long relief right now and really has no business being in mlb and I really just can't stand Mike Dunn. Wittgren 4 ever

I think a pitching machine might be just about as good as Andre Rienzo. 5.62 FIP and 6.97 walks per 9 innings? The pitching machine would at least throw strikes.

He's sexy as hell though and that accent

My question is with our roster of pitching made up of mostly AAA and AA pitching and our hitting devoid of at least half of its viable starters, how bad is Milwaukee to be completely outhit and outpitched by this team at home TWICE?

They're bad, but don't be fooled: we're worse.
