November 3, 201510 yr Yeah Samson mentioned this again in the press conference yesterday (in response to a question) and the Herald is revisiting it and recapping it in detail but it isn't new.
November 3, 201510 yr Just shows how manipulative the media can be. This was reported on already but the casual fan will read it and say "Marlins being cheap again, he proved he can still pitch!" Actually I saw this yesterday on twitter after the article came out.

The fact that he was hurt again with Bicep tendinitis should make Jose reconsider, even if the Marlins are just trying to buy out one FA year. He could use the financial security right now, considering he is still very young. Boras wants that Kershaw type deal for Jose.
November 3, 201510 yr I could be wrong but just based on Boras' comments from when that originally happened, he isn't just "accept no offer ever until free agency" but he seems more like "let's wait until his value goes up and let's try again." Maybe the Fish should try again soon.
