Shit's getting ugly eh?

And people say the Marlins have been dysfunctional in the past!

It's ridiculous that his spoiled brat of an offspring is there every game and as play I'd say hell no, but the white sox couldnt of handled it any worse

Also, I wonder if the kid thing had anything to do with him not signing with us?

Also, LaRoche was awful last year

LaRoche and the White Sox agreed, as part of his contract, that he could bring his shitty kid into the locker room, clubhouse, and anywhere else he wanted as often as he wanted. This season, they decided to change their minds and said no more. As much as LaRoche might be a bit of an ass for forcing his kid on all of his teammates, the White Sox front office basically did the "buy a house" thing the Marlins FO did with Buerhle and Reyes. This looks really, really bad on the White Sox and they pissed off their best player (Chris Sale, definitely not Adam LaRoche) in the process.

If it was in his contract then legally there's some bullshit on the white Sox behalf but beyond that, fuck laroche for thinking his kid is part of the team. And yes I've heard the kid is awesome and so is laroche but I absolutely agree with Williams saying "where in this country can u bring your kid to work every day?" The kid had a freaking locker. Come on. Grow up. You wanna be a better dad? Don't be a major league baseball player. Stay home.

Edit: Wanted to add, I do respect Laroche for taking a stand at this point, I just don't think he should think him and his kid are more entitled than any other father and his son.

And lastly, the dysfunction in White Sox camp is gonna be nasty. Loria is probably cracking up.

Eh another culture of losing team. Adam should egg the GM's house.

but no seriously the white sox is correct. But COL nonetheless

Does the kid not have school to go to?

Does the kid not have school to go to?

he's rich so no

I heard laroche would get the kids homework weeks in advance so he can do it on the road trips. As a teacher, I can tell u that's not good. Kids have to be in class to learn best. Homework isn't instruction, its reinforcement of stuff taught in the classroom. Also, it's not that easy for a teacher to even know what the specific homework will be weeks in advance. In trying to be a better father laroche is inadvertently doing that kid a lot of harm. Kids are also supposed to be in school to learn social skills around their own peers, not around adult professional athletes 24/7.

His kid is home schooled, and the agreement was never in the contract, only a handshake
