Be a happy fan

As a fan,the only thing you can control was picked up a team, other than that you can't control anything, you can't choose the owner and the players, you can't decided the game plan,so what you can do was accepted everything and accepted the record whether it is good or bad, finally, just to believe that SOMEDAY,yes SOMEDAY,this team would win the world series eventually.

check in anytime, you wont ever leave.

The last time a marlin fan was happy was before first pitch on opening day 2012.

when they trudged a decrepit old man with parkinsons out on the field to throw an awkward ceremonial pitch?

The curse of Ali

Correction: The last time a marlins fan was happy was before Loria took a ride with a decrepit old man with parkinsons out on the field to throw an awkward ceremonial pitch.

so at the inaugural Pitbull concert on 11/11/11?

I'd argue you and still play into the joke but I know exactly what you mean so.. yeah, you're right.

The franchise has been cursed ever since Loria threw the Florida Marlins hat on the ground and held a Pitbull concert right after.

omg.... do you have proof of that hat throw? wtf, I hope that isn't true.

Like they say, NEVER change the name of a boat, bad luck. Maybe the same goes for baseball teams. And to top it off throwing the old marlins hat away?

This did happen

And that does it. That's where it all started.

Because other teams haven't changed their names and been successful.

The Rays used to be way better when they were the Devil Rays.

this was a catastrophic mistake, especially when  you see fans still wear florida hats.
