Phelps is such a beautiful find for us. I said many times in the spring that in the right role Phelps could be so valuable to us. This is absolutely not what I had in mind but one way or another my prediction was right.

 

 

I have to really credit the coaching staff for this run too. I really like Mattinglys demeanor. He never seems to panic and I think it really translates to this team.

By the way, when it was 4-3, Miguel Rojas made a nice defensive play to save a run and end the 4th inning, which could've resulted in more runs considering that Franco opened the 5th inning with a solo HR.
